Dr. Gladlee's Weekend Retreat

Dr. Gladlee the Crosseyed Bear is a psychiatrist that partly believes in the "Medical Model (vis: "biopsychiatry)" partly an acolyte of the famous Dr. Fink and he also gets by because he's darn likeable (after all, who could possibly argue with a teddy bear?).

An ardent supporter of medical service provider self-regualtion, since 1992, Dr. Gladlee has also run a "weekend retreat" which he says can be paid for by your medical insurance claims (though regulators, he asserts, are bothersomely insistent on details, for some unknown reason).
Herewith is a copy of one of his promotional flyers for the ~uh~ Retreat.

Dr. Gladlee was educated in either one of those Grenada med school mills that Ronald Reagan saw fit to protect from communism in the early 1980s or from a shady international correspondence school course run by some guy (now deceased) in Guyana. He has also made a fortune day trading in pharmeceutical stocks. At any rate, it is clear that he is an eminently qualified psychiatrist and he's quite obviously well suited to work in his chosen profession.

If your are interested in more information about Dr. Gladlee and his colleagues stop by the Treatment Advocacy Center or the NAMI website.

Seriously a final caveat this is really a "gallows humor" approach to forced treatment interventions.
In truth, Dr. Gladlee's advert didn't offer any phone number or website to contact him, which is probably just as well.
