architrophy | The guy who runs this site makes models of homes, museums, structures of many kinds, but with a focus on historical structures, vacation homes and for folks looking for plans and additions.
     This kind of work is precisely the kind of thing I fantacized about doing when I was in high school, but never got around to doing it right.
     This kind of craft, so long and often available only for high-flying architectural firms and the rich, may actually be affordable for a lot more folks as well. Not cheap, mind you ~but not expensive either~ and for somebody wondering about sinking a hundred grand (US dollars) or more into a new house or an addition, getting a model built of what you want the contractors to know what your are looking for, might be just the thing.

www.1000journals.com | | UPDATE: volume #746, which was sent to me fresh, is still making the rounds around the area and there are a few folks who still say they want to write in it | Once I get it back, it goes to someone in Caliornia and I'm amazed but 9 people have signed up for it, so I gotta send it off soon ...just as soon as I get it back, that is.
